7th – 9th May 2016

I arrived in HCMC around 6.30pm and walked from the bus station to my hostel. If you are coming by bus from Cambodia or Vietnam the chances are you will be dropped off at the bus station on Pham Ngu Lao Road which is right by the main area all the backpackers stay so it’s worth booking a hostel in this area as it saves you money on a taxi and you can walk to your hostel.

Nha Trang

5th – 7th May 2016

I arrived in Nha Trang Thursday morning and got a taxi from the train station to my dorm. I booked to stay in Mozjo Dorm as I had heard amazing things and it definitely did not disappoint!!! As I arrived at about 8.30am I was not able to check in but I was able to leave my big bag in the storage room out the back. They have beds and a shower for anyone who isn’t able to check in until later or for people who have checked out and are waiting for onward transport. I was also given a bottle of water and banana. I had only been there a matter of 5 minutes and the girls on reception had come over to ask my name (they will without a doubt remember it and address you by your name for the duration of your stay) and gave me a map of the area and recommendations of things to do and see. I would honestly go back to Nha Trang just for the hostel alone – it was by far the best I have stayed in and I would seriously recommend it to anyone going to Nha Trang.
